Rare antique moonstones are delicately set in lightly oxidized sterling silver. We made the first of these as the perfect something old accoutrement for a bridal customer. A one of a kind piece that wears beautifully.

Moonstone is one of the few gems that have inclusions so characteristic that seeing them guarantees their identity. By far the most valuable moonstones are those which are colorless, transparent and have a strong blue sheen. These stones historically came from Burma. As this material is essentially mined out, most top grade gems available today are being passed from one collector to another.
