Althea Earrings

Antique cut steel buttons C. 1890 are revived with a vigorous polish and hung from sterling earwires.

1.75" [4.5cm] long.
Cut steel was created as an alternative to diamonds. The small steel studs in these pieces were cut, faceted and pieced together by hand for an amazingly radiant result.

As these are steel please protect from exposure to excessive moisture (i.e. don't wear these to the beach or for a swim in the pool). Clean with a dab of oil on cotton or cloth to maintain polish.
